Traditional or classic tutu skirts are made of mesh netting material in several layers and are often starched to be very stiff so they stick out from the body, allowing ballet dancers the leg flexibility they need and adding an element of grace and femininity to the dancer profile. Pair these with fairy wings, a star wand, little bug headboppers or anything else that strikes your fancy and you have a fun and girly costume.
